About me

I'm a journalist with more than a decade of experience. As a reporter, I cover U.S. national affairs. And I specialize in writing deeply reported, narrative long-form features.

My reporting on the aftermath of the 2018 mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida, as well as the U.S. Indigenous suicide epidemic won me national awards in narrative feature writing from the Society for Features Journalism.

An alumnus of Syracuse University, I earned degrees from both the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the College of Human Ecology (the latter is now named the David B. Falk College of Sport). I live in New York City.
